Step #1First you'll need to make some basic measurements for the bed sheet dress. Measusure your true waist size, the distance from your waist to the bottom of the shirt (do you want a little past or above the your knees), measure the distance from your waist to your shoulder and the wides part of your chest. 
Step #2Take your old bedsheet or other old linen and undue the seams and then cut out the skirt from the bed sheet. You want to make a half circle for the skirt pattern using your waist measurement + 2" for the inner radius of the half circle and use the length from your waist to the bottom of where you want the dress to end plus two inches for the radius of the circle (without the small center part, see diagram below).
